Revitalizing Undergraduate Education
Without conceding any of the expectations for research in Notre Dame's transition in the last 20 years from a collegiate to a university environment, renewed attention is being focused on the revitalization of undergraduate education. The recently established Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning seeks to engage, inspire and to challenge good teachers to become great teachers. Revisions in the introductory courses in the College of Science contribute to a much-improved learning experience for first-year students.
