Center for Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement
The Center for Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement aims to stimulate undergraduate intellectual life on campus; promote and sponsor undergraduate research; and help undergraduates learn about, apply for, and win national and international fellowships.
DeBartolo Performing Arts Center
The DeBartolo Center for the Peforming Arts was carefully designed for both public performance and for teaching and learning. Its 155,000 square feet comprise 5 performance venues, classrooms, and faculty offices.
Dual Career Assistance Program
The Dual Career Assistance Program extends personalized job-search assistance to spouses of newly hired faculty and staff. During the first quarter of 2009, the program was expanded to include spouses of continuing faculty. Job-search assistance is tailored to the job seeker’s unique skills and talents. Through collaboration with departments across campus and relationships with key community and business leaders, this Program helps these individuals conduct a professional and successful job search.
John A. Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning
The Kaneb Center sponsors a program of workshops, presentations, and consultations that highlight the best teaching practices and learning environments and encourage and assist the efforts of Notre Dame’s faculty and teaching assistants to nurture and sustain these. It is an advocate for the enhancement of practices and structures related to the university’s teaching mission.
Office of International Studies
Led by the Assistant Provost for International Studies, the Office of International Studies administers over 40 programs and over five summer programs in 20 countries.
Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar performs academic administration duties including: providing an effective method of class registration and enrollment; maintaining up-to-date and secure student data files and making this information available as appropriate and in compliance with FERPA regulations and the University Data Use Policy; and maintaining the course catalog.
Office of Research
The Office of Research provides several resources to support faculty in pursuing research opportunities. These resources include information on identifying funding opportunities, guidance on preparing proposals, and training to ensure that faculty will be successful in their research.
Office for Students with Disabilities
The Office for Students with Disabilities recommends and coordinates the provision of reasonable accommodations for qualified students with disabilities.
Office of Undergraduate Admissions
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions manages the application and admission process for all Notre Dame undergraduates.
Reserve Officers Training Corps
Notre Dame has a proud history of hosting Army, Navy, and Air Force ROTC programs.
Snite Museum of Art
The Snite Museum of Art features collections that place it among the finest university art museums in the nation. It contains over 23,000 works representing many of the principal cultures and periods of world art history.
University of Notre Dame Press
Established in 1949, the University of Notre Dame Press is a scholarly publisher of distinguished books in a number of academic disciplines; in poetry and fiction; and in areas of interest to general readers. The largest Catholic university press in the world, the Press publishes fifty to sixty books annually and maintains a robust backlist in print.
