Among life’s simpler pleasures, there may be nothing better than having brunch or grabbing coffee with one of the most interesting people you know.
With a Side of Knowledge is a podcast created with just that idea in mind.
Giving you the chance to get to know a fascinating scholar or professional through an informal conversation about their work, each episode is about 30 minutes long. And true to the show’s name, we record onsite at a restaurant on or near Notre Dame’s campus—including our official brunch home, Sorin’s in the Morris Inn—ambient noise and all.
Some guests are members of the Notre Dame faculty, but many are visitors from elsewhere who have come to campus to do anything from give a lecture or performance to participate in a fellowship program.
The show is hosted by the Provost Office’s Ted Fox, with new episodes released every other Thursday. If you’re in the South Bend area, you can also hear it Sundays at noon on radio station WSND (88.9 FM).
