Ad Hoc Committee on Research & Graduate Studies
The purpose of this committee was to recommend how best to organize administratively the offices that oversee graduate education and research at Notre Dame, and to chart the mission, responsibilities, and charge of these offices. "Research" was defined to be the full range of activities in research, scholarship, and creative work expected of teaching and research faculty across all disciplines and departments.
