Caroline Maloney is the academic affairs program director. Her responsibilities include executing and stewarding faculty reappointment and promotion processes, Academic Program Reviews, institutional accreditation initiatives, and a range of academic compliance and governance functions.
Before joining the Provost’s Office, Maloney served as advisor to the dean of Notre Dame’s School of Architecture. In this capacity, she directed the School’s academic administration, shaped strategic agendas for the School’s leadership, and managed faculty search and RPT processes. As academic advising and research program director, she recruited and advised Architecture undergraduate students and supported efforts to expand faculty and student research engagement. Prior to that, her efforts were focused on program accreditation and operational activities that enriched the undergraduate curriculum.
Maloney graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in art history and anthropology. She also earned master’s degrees from Notre Dame in art history and management.
