Caroline Maloney is associate director for academic programming and accreditation. Her responsibilities include supporting and operationalizing academic inclusion and diversity initiatives as well as University accreditation requirements and report writing.

Before joining the Provost's Office, Maloney served Notre Dame's School of Architecture from 2014–2023. As advisor to the dean, she guided the School’s academic administration, managed faculty search, reappointment, promotion, and tenure processes, and set agendas for the School’s leadership and faculty bodies. As academic advising and research program director, she recruited and advised Architecture undergraduate students and supported efforts to expand faculty and student research engagement. Prior to that, her efforts were focused on program accreditation and operational activities that enriched the undergraduate curriculum.

Maloney graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in art history and anthropology. In addition, she holds master's degrees from Notre Dame in art history and management. She is passionate about the transformative power of higher education and committed to fostering a diverse academic community in which all can thrive.
