Cecilia Bass

Cecilia Bass is the Faculty Operations Specialist in the Office of the Provost, where she supports the faculty administrative operations and ensures they are accurate, consistent, and reliable across campus. Her responsibilities include managing workflows for faculty appointments and reappointments, administering leaves and separations, coordinating faculty data integrity across institutional systems, and delivering training and resources that strengthen administrative understanding and consistency.

 

Prior to joining Notre Dame, Cecilia served as a Project Management Specialist in the Office of the Executive Associate Dean at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she managed faculty appointment processing, coordinated faculty searches, and supported academic personnel operations for a school of 180 full-time faculty and 1,600 students.

Cecilia holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Biology from Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music.
