Rich Forrester is the Associate Director, Academic Finance. In this role, he helps to support the AVP with financial planning, reporting, and budgeting activities of larger collegiate divisions. He also helps to steward Provost resources where needed, oversees a portfolio of financial plans for certain academic divisions, and represents the AVP on various committees and initiatives.
Forrester has been with the University of Notre Dame since 2004. Before joining Notre Dame, he spent 11 years in higher education, in both Finance and IT, and worked for several not-for-profit organizations in accounting and auditing roles. While at Notre Dame, he was an analyst on the implementation team for Banner HR and worked within RSPA for 11 years, the majority of which he served as the Assistant Director. Forrester holds a BBA in Accounting from Andrews University and is a CPA.
